Good quote about children

"One of the most important needs [children have] is the need to be
[and feel] significant. [When your child feels insignificant,
unimportant, unlovable, or not all right, then misbehavior] is the
quickest way to find significance."

The Results are In!

So Sarah and I decided to settle our dispute over lemons and blueberries by having a poll for people to answer on whether or not lemons and blueberries go together in baking and whatnot. Well, 60% of the people voted that they do go together, so I guess that says that I win. haha. just kidding. Sarah wins this time, but that's only because not enough guys answered the poll, I'm sure.

Mesmerizing

Sarah must have taken this photo, because I do not recall taking it. Regardless, the more I look at it, the more I am mesmerized by it. I can't explain what it is exactly. There is just something about Phoebe's expression, a rare maturity and depth in her eyes perhaps, that just captivates me. Something in her eyes tells a silent, fascinating, but mysterious story. The longer I look at her, the more deeply I am drawn into her expression. Such mystery. It is truly mesmerizing.

Camera woman

Phoebe loves little gadgets. Recently she has taken a liking to cameras. Budding photographer perhaps?

And here's a freeby of Max chillin' in his bouncy seat.

June

Max is getting as cute as ever.

Same with Phoebe.

And Sarah!

Phoebe decided one morning that she wanted to try using her cereal bowl as a hat - while the cereal and milk was still in it! She cracks us up almost everyday. :)

Phoebe and her jumping

We knew Phoebe was a strong, active, athletic girl, but we didn't realize the extent of it until we spent 45 minutes watching Phoebe jump off of things into a soft cushion of blankets.

Recent pictures...

As you can see, Max is getting huge and very interactive, and Phoebe has hair to rival Medusa. All I can think when I look at these two is how blessed I am.
