Birthday fun

It was my birthday last Sunday and i had such a GREAT weekend, thanks to my wonderful husband and amazing friends! I have to take this chance to brag about Levi and what he did for me on my bday. I woke up and he made great breakfast, then he stayed home and with the kids for several hours so i could go to Venice Beach with friends. When i came home the house was spotless and he'd made food and set up for our Superbowl party. We had people over and hung out into the evening, then after the party he drove 45 minutes one way to pick up a couch i had bought on Craigslist! He had a paper he had to turn in the next morning and couldn't get it done that day (for some weird reason!!), so he woke up at 5am the next day to complete it. WOW. I have such a great guy. He made me feel so loved.

I made a little cake topper for a friend of mine who had an adorable casual wedding reception in a barn this past weekend. So here are some pics! It was very time-consuming but i had so much fun with it. While i was making it I thought i wanted really wanted to get into the business cause i was having so much fun, but after it was all completed, i realized no, i definitely don't want to do cake-decorating for a career.:)

Phoebe was a duck for Halloween. She LOVED wearing the costume and was begging to wear it all day. No wonder - it's like a big fluffy pillow engulfing her!A girls dorm on campus at Biola puts on "Candy Land" each year for Halloween and opens it to the public. Last year Phoebe played this game of throwing ping-pong balls into a baby pool and she loved it again this year!



Phoebe's best friends are Penny and Lena. They go to preschool together and I am great friends with their mamas.

Time in VA

So it's been forever since we've posted and i realized we've pretty much skipped out on posting what's been going on this summer! We'll start with our time in Virginia, back in June/July.
