As you can see, Max is getting huge and very interactive, and Phoebe has hair to rival Medusa. All I can think when I look at these two is how blessed I am.

3 months!
Max is 2 days away from being 3 months old! He is such a bundle of joy - loves to smile and coo. Here are both Phoebe and Max at 3 months.
Kendra
Last month my cousin, Kendra came to visit us from PA for a week and a half. It was her first time flying and we are SO thankful she braved the airports to come be with us! She was a huge blessing to our family. She jumped right in and helped us so much by taking care of Max and Phoebe. We miss her!

Single Ladies
I was recently in a reenactment of the SNL skit "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. This was performed during the talent show portion of the annual Rosemead student banquet. Our car was broken into...
Friday morning we woke up to a phone call from our neighbor who told us that 3 cars were broken into at our apartment complex - and one of the cars was ours. The passenger window was smashed in and the CD player was stolen. Otherwise, everything else was intact. How incredibly unthoughtful of those punks! Couldn't they see the two car seats in the back?!? Don't they know that glass is sharp? Can't they tell by the exterior of the vehicle that there would be nothing to steal anyway? Alas, we must get a new window...

A Visit From Aunt Margot
A couple weeks before Max was born one of my best friends, Margot, came to visit and brought a bed for Phoebe! We put it together and made a big deal about it, and ever since Phoebe LOVES her new bed. Every time someone would come over Phoebe would run to her room to show them her bed. She especially likes jumping on it. She was a champ right from the get-go by staying in bed and going to sleep in it. Thanks so much for the new bed, Margot!
And we are overjoyed that Jon is home from Iraq safe and sound after serving there for the last seven months! Thank you, Jon for your hard work and dedication. Thank you, Margot for being such a supportive wife and making the military look so good. You both are a blessing to our country. We love you!

meet Maxim Lane Cole
Sarah, Phoebe, and I are proud to announce the swift and safe arrival of our son, Maxim Lane Cole. Max was born on Monday, March 2nd, at 3:33am at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. He weighs 7lb 6oz and is 19 in tall. It was less than an hour from the time Sarah and I left our apartment and got to the hospital that Max was born. Sarah pushed for maybe 6-7 minutes and out came our precious son!
